Hi, I’m James Gale.
I’m a Belgian horror writer, multimedia artist, and storyteller working across fiction, painting, music, and poetry.
My creative work explores the spaces where beauty, fear, memory, and identity intersect. Whether through a short story, a painting, a piece of music, or a poem, I’m fascinated by the emotions and questions that linger long after the experience ends.
In recent years, my writing has increasingly focused on psychological horror, folklore, and mythology. Through interconnected stories such as Final Session and future tales set in the myhtology of Old Vale, I aim to create unsettling worlds where forgotten knowledge, ancient entities, and human vulnerability collide.
Alongside my creative work, I write and speak about autism, neurodiversity, and mental health. As a late-diagnosed autistic adult, I share my experiences in the hope of fostering greater understanding, acceptance, and authenticity.
This website serves as a home for my stories, artwork, music, and ongoing creative projects.
Welcome, and thank you for visiting.
