Poem – Cosmic Grace

As the stars greet us once more
In the cold night sky,
I wonder what they think
Of our lives passing by.

Perhaps they mock us
For things like traffic’s strife,
And working 9 to 5,
Hardly living a radiant life.

Then I contemplate
If the distance between stars,
Makes them lonely, wandering afar,
But then I reminisce, I can feel the loneliest,
In a crowded bar.

So I stare,
As the stars convey their cosmic grace,
Slowly wondering
if they have found a better place,
Living their lives far away from this planet,
Far away from this chaos,
Existing at their own pace.
