Abstract Painting – Molten Dreams

Molten Dreams Acrylic Painting by James Gale

While unpacking some boxes, I rediscovered this artwork that I made. Back then, in the long-forgotten year of 2022, I had titled it ‘Molten Dreams’. There is, of course, a long story behind the painting and the feeling I had while making it.

But let’s try it differently this time.
Since abstract art speaks differently to each person, I am curious to hear from you. When you look at this piece, what does it whisper to you? What do you feel? What was the first thing you thought off?
Share your impressions below.

I’m always curious to hear what others think of my work and how it reflects their current mood or mindset.

Warm regards,
James

I used acrylics on canvas for this one.

  1. To me it looks like a body of water somewhere outside, in the daylight, and we are underwater looking at something (or someone) that fell in, and is slowly dissolving. The painting looks very alive and dynamic.

I can see what you mean with molten dreams, though.
